Las Cruces Museum Installation
Below are shots of the installation of my work in Elemental New Mexico: The Desert in Form and Essence, which will be showing at the Las Cruces Museum of Art until April 6th. The sculpture in the foreground is by Brian Kluge.
The installation is stunning. I'm so sorry to miss it, but I congratulate you on persevering with this demanding and rewarding work. The photos make me want to be there and move in close to "read" the paintings - they intrigue me at a distance.
Dara, it was so satisfying seeing this body of work hanging together in such a thoughtful installation. The paintings created a quiet, contemplative space, and the large pieces were given a lot of breathing room.
